A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Logistics Project Professional, you’ll be at the heart of interdisciplinary collaboration, working closely with teams across transportation, procurement, production, technology, warehousing, and distribution. You’ll help shape the future of logistics at our new Charlotte transformer factory by driving innovation in material flow, planning, and handling technologies.
During the factory’s construction phase, you’ll play a key role in building processes, refining logistics strategies, and preparing for full-scale operations. Your problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and commitment to customer satisfaction will be essential to our success.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Champion lean, standardized logistics processes aligned with industry best practices.
- Design and implement value-added material flow strategies to support production.
- Lead logistics activities including planning horizons, budgeting, and MHE acquisition.
- Conduct strategic risk assessments and oversee deployment of equipment and systems.
- Act as a liaison between procurement and project teams to resolve packaging, lot sizing, and warehousing challenges.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 4 years in supply chain/logistics and 5 years in warehousing, planning, or transportation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP; experience with Power BI and WMS.
- Deep knowledge of material management, inventory validation, 3PL integration, and MHE implementation.
- Expertise in warehouse design, long-term logistics strategy, and tech-driven process improvements.
- If not already located in the Charlotte, NC area, you must be willing to relocate.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.
