A Snapshot of Your Day

The Service & Commissioning Engineer (LCM) is responsible for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and lifecycle support of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and automation systems across Marine, Offshore, and Industrial applications. The role ensures equipment operates in accordance with technical specifications, customer requirements, and company safety and quality standards.  

 
How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Perform installation checks, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of VFD and automation systems. 
  • Execute functional testing and validation against specifications. 
  • Provide troubleshooting support under service contracts and emergency calls. 
  • Act as technical interface with customers and internal stakeholders. 
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and commissioning records. 
  • Identify spares, lifecycle requirements, and support service proposals. 
  • Ensure compliance with HSE and quality standards.  

What You Bring

  • Strong knowledge of VFD systems (e.g., SINAMICS S120/G120), PLC/DCS systems, industrial communication protocols, and troubleshooting of automation systems.    
  • Bachelor's/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Automation Engineering with 4–10 years of relevant commissioning and service experience in Marine/Offshore/Oil & Gas/Process industries.  
  • Experience in Drilling VFD systems, BlueDrive, and Marine DP systems. 
  • Exposure to retrofit projects, system migrations, and obsolescence management. 
  • Familiarity with digital tools, remote diagnostics platforms, and Copilot-enabled workflows.
  • Analytical mindset, strong communication, ability to work independently and in teams, customer-oriented approach, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel, experience in commissioning teams, customer training capability, and familiarity with Siemens systems preferred.
