A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Global Fleet Management Leader, you take full end-to-end ownership of global fleet management across the entire fleet lifecycle. You drive and oversee strategic, tactical, and operational fleet topics with clear execution accountability, while steering and prioritizing global initiatives such as cost optimization, EV transition, decarbonization, and governance programs. In close collaboration with regional and cross-functional stakeholders including HR, Finance, Sustainability, Procurement, and business areas, you ensure the consistent implementation of the global fleet strategy. Acting as the central interface between the Fleet Committee and the executive Fleet Management Team, you prepare decision-ready materials, support executive decision-making, and ensure the effective execution of decisions within daily fleet operations. In addition, you manage escalations and provide transparent reporting to top management on costs, KPIs, CO₂ performance, and compliance.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Establishment of a central end-to-end fleet ownership function in the absence of a previously existing global role.
  • Replacement of decentralized, multi-organizational ownership structures through clear and harmonized global steering.
  • Harmonization of governance, execution, and operational implementation across all fleet-related topics.
  • Ensuring of a consistent global fleet strategy combined with effective regional execution.
  • Acceleration of the implementation of central decisions through clear accountability structures.
  • Achievement of measurable improvements in total cost of ownership (TCO), CO₂ performance, compliance, and transparency.
What You Bring
  • University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; advanced qualification preferred.
  • Senior management experience in global, cross-functional end-to-end roles within international matrix organizations, including engagement with VP/SVP/C-level stakeholders, fleet operations management across the full lifecycle, as well as supplier, contract, and governance management.
  • Strong expertise in fleet management, TCO, KPI, and CO₂ steering, combined with experience in ESG, compliance, and the development and steering of global operating and governance models.
  • Strong ownership mentality and decision-making capability, with proven leadership, negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, execution focus, and senior stakeholder management skills in complex international environments.
