- Lead sourcing activities from demand request to awarding, performing total cost analysis to select high-performing suppliers that meet cost, quality, and delivery requirements. Initiate and steer cost-saving and bundling activities, growing managed spend with flawless execution.
- Prepare and negotiate global frame contracts & price agreements for strategic suppliers, strictly aligning with business and market requirements
- Build and manage relationships with strategic suppliers, develop a strategic supplier portfolio, and de-risk supplier dependencies while reducing tail-end suppliers
- Consult with partners up to senior management on outsourcing strategies and risk avoidance, working closely with different procurement areas to ensure world-class outcomes.
- Collaborate with partners to determine and successfully implement the category strategy, building additional value aligned with business needs and strategic objective
- Review planned projects/demands, understand demand structures, and develop basic technical knowledge of the product portfolio
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, supply chain management, engineering, or similar fields
- Proven long-standing experience in a procurement or commercial role within a global organization, experience with service contracts, experience in engineering is a plus
- Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills, coupled with leadership experience, experience in project management is a plus
- Experience working in global teams and communicating effectively up to senior management levels across the organization
- A strong sense of accountability and initiative, exhibiting excellent analytical skills, a structured work style, critical thinking and customer focus
- Proficiency in English and German for business purposes
