A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Repair Center Manager, you will lead both shop and office personnel at the Service Center, ensuring the efficient repair of critical turbomachinery equipment. Your responsibilities will include prioritizing shop work and developing tasks for employees to meet both internal and external delivery deadlines. You will manage the shop's profit and loss, forecast financials, and report to Finance and upper management. Collaborating with Safety and Quality managers, you will monitor and maintain policies and procedures. Additionally, you will maintain the customer feedback database and initiate complaint/NCC resolution. You will identify and implement Lean strategies to enhance the quality of service, productivity, and profitability. Our customers include oil refineries, petrochemical plants, power plants, universities, hospitals, and mechanical contractors.

  • Ensure safety performance and timely delivery of projects.
  • Improve quote response time and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and reduce the cost of poor quality.
  • Provides site leadership for all staff, including both indirect and direct labor employees. 
  • Foster employee engagement and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Oversee employee training and development.

What You Bring

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in repairing rotating equipment (specifically ST. Compressors) is required. Candidates with more experience may be considered for higher-level positions.
  • Preferably, 5+ years of experience in managing operations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
  • Travel requirements are approximately 5%.
