A Snapshot of Your Day

Are you passionate about modernizing the grid and driving innovation in grid software? Siemens Energy is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead initiatives that address the most pressing challenges faced by utilities today. In this role, you will work at the forefront of energy transformation, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to create sustainable and resilient energy systems.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop the Energy Management System (EMS) and Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS) portfolio strategy for Siemens Energy, including market assessment, identifying focus portfolio areas and value propositions, and establishing implementation structures.
  • Develop a business plan and implementation approach, and scale the business according to the established proposal.
  • Define case studies and use cases to demonstrate specific solutions.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships within the industry, with attention to Public Utility Commissions (PUCs), Independent System Operators (ISOs), and Regional Transmission Organizations (RTOs).
  • Position Siemens Energy as a trusted thought leader and partner in grid modernization efforts.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 10 or more years of proven experience in energy systems, grid modernization, or DER integration. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.
  • Project management skills with experience executing pilot projects or first-of-a-kind initiatives.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and ability to develop business cases and product roadmaps.
  • Experience focusing on customer requirements and entrepreneurial approaches.
  • Expertise in building partnerships and navigating complex stakeholder environments; Strong communication and presentation skills.

Travel, as needed, up to 25-30% internationally


Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
