Engineering Rotation Scheme Trainee at Siemens Energy
The Engineering Rotation Scheme (ERS) is a 24-month programme aimed at providing young engineers with an opportunity to integrate and apply their academic knowledge in a practical environment and to create a professional engineering work force for the business. This opportunity will allow the development of keys skills that is required for our factory based in Wadeville.
How You’ll Make an Impact
The graduates will support the Engineering and Manufacturing Teams
Other areas of exposure:
- Learn departmental functions, company policies and practices
- Acquire skill on how to align the different departmental roles to the engineering function for better operations.
- Acquire skills on the structural design analysis
Minimum Skills / Abilities:
- Computer Literate MS Office Suite
- Good oral and written business communication at all levels
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Ability to plan and prioritise work activities
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
What You Bring
We are looking for Mechanical Engineering candidates with a BEng Qualifications: BSc, BEng, or B. Tech Graduate
Knowledge, skills, and experience:
Willing to register as a candidate engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa and see the process through until finally being register as and Engineering Professional.
- Be willing to learn new things.
- Be adaptable and agile to the working environment.
- Have a working knowledge of at least one CAD Application.

- Good organizational, administration and time management skills.
- A proactive attitude.
- Personal integrity and trustworthiness.
