A Snapshot of Your Day:
As a Generator Technical Support Engineer, you will engage with a diverse team of engineering professionals, focusing on critical projects that enhance the reliability and availability of Siemens Energy Generators in KSA. Your expertise will directly impact our clients and partners by providing timely, accurate engineering support, fostering a culture of collaboration and safety. Expect to be part of a dynamic environment that prioritizes customer needs and promotes a zero-harm culture, ensuring that every project contributes to Siemens Energy’s mission of delivering sustainable energy solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Provide timely engineering support for technical queries from internal and external customers.
- Serve as the key point of contact for technical issues related to generator operation, maintenance, and commissioning.
- Collaborate with a global network of specialists to address complex technical challenges.
- Support the preparation and execution of maintenance outages, including scope definition and resource requirements.
- Present and discuss technical solutions in meetings with stakeholders.
- Participate in post-outage reviews to identify improvement opportunities and lessons learned.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Intermediate knowledge of Siemens Energy Generator technology and/or other manufacturers.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing, repair technologies, and materials.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience working in KSA, with collaboration and networking skills.
- A customer-first mindset and commitment to promoting a zero-harm culture.
About the Team:
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
