A Snapshot of Your Day
We are looking for a proactive, tech‑savvy Working Student to help turn our Business Strategy team into an AI playground. You will support the Digital & Process Transformation team in applying cutting‑edge AI to real energy challenges within Siemens Energy’s Grid Technologies division. Your work will focus on AI scouting, rapid prototyping, and showcasing impact through demos and experiments.In this hands‑on role, you’ll test new AI tools, build prototypes such as custom GPTs or agents, and demonstrate their value for our business. You should be an AI‑native with a builder mindset, enrolled in a technical or business program, and experienced with LLMs, prompt engineering, and GenAI tools. Passion for side projects, data visualization, and creative problem‑solving matters more than titles—if you know a smarter way to do things with AI, we want to hear it.
How You’ll Make an Impact - Monitoring and scouting of current AI developments (LLMs, generative models, open‑source tools)
- Development and presentation of innovation ideas and analysis of potential AI use cases for automation and efficiency gains
- Design, development, and testing of AI prototypes (e.g., custom GPTs, AI agents, automated workflows)
- Support in building and implementing Microsoft Copilot and low‑code/no‑code workflows
- Data preparation and application of advanced prompt‑engineering techniques to optimize GenAI solutions
- Creation of visual dashboards and presentations as well as documentation and communication of prototype results and PoCs
What You Bring- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master’s program in a technical or business-related field
- Hands-on experience with AI tools, including generative AI, prompt engineering, prototyping, and LLM-based solutions
- Familiarity with data visualization and low-code/no-code tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate)
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and research skills
- High level of proactivity, collaboration, and communication skills
- Knowledge of business process transformation and innovation management
