- Leading the Product Line Additive Manufacturing (AM) globally with full responsibility for our AM business
- Reporting to the Senior Vice President of the Gas Services Distributed Execution Unit (EXU) but also holds mandate for servicing other areas in Siemens Energy (e.g. Gas Services Central, other Business Areas)
- Work closely with the Vice President of Finance for AM, focusing on all financial matters and the management of the financial community
- Represent AM to internal and external stakeholders to develop strategic growth and collaboration opportunities to grow our AM business
- Establish and scale up AM as a growth product line for our future business, while ensuring operational excellence and productivity improvement to ensure profitable growth
- Drive AM adoption to reduce dependency on constrained supply nodes
- Deliver AM components that improve performance, reliability, and durability, thereby
- Act as a cross-functional integrator with Engineering, Supply Chain, PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and Operation
- Working with our global AM team to drive functional optimization of our AM Product Line such as operational excellence, lead times, industrialization of processes and productivity improvements
- Lead and develop the global AM workforce and our talent, ensuring a high-performing and collaborative culture of excellence and continuous improvement, with motivated employees and retention of key personnel
- Regularly pushing communication within the product line is essential (all staff meetings, town halls, round tables, etc.)
- Operating to the highest, moral, ethical, and business standards, manage risk, and protect the Siemens Energy brand should be at the heart of everything you do
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in an Engineering / technology subject, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of business experience in leadership roles as well as experience in gas turbine technology
- Strong operational experience in leading a complex technology-driven product line in an international organization
- Proven expertise in managing global manufacturing operations and production networks
- Significant experience in developing and implementing strategic plans, with a strong focus on new product development and scaling up organizations
- Fluent English language skills
- International experience either outside of the home country or in a global corporation is an advantage
- Capability to successfully manage multiple priorities and reporting requirements as well as proactive, dynamic, decisive & results oriented
- Strong collaborative skills and a team player with strong interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate actively our desired Leadership Behaviors & Essentials and challenge the status-quo, using a collaborative balance and a networked approach
