A Snapshot of Your Day

Join us as the VP Sales FPSO, where you will play a pivotal role in expanding our compression business within the FPSO market. You will lead a dedicated team in collaboration with the VP of regional sales, ensuring a focused approach to this dynamic sector. Imagine defining strategies for bids, coordinating sales across various regions, and engaging early with engineering firms and end users during the Feed phase. You will work closely with the proposal and commercial sales teams, aligning strategies with our Gas turbine business while nurturing relationships with existing and prospective customers. Your expertise will help develop a compelling value proposition for our after-service business, all while promoting technical standards to enhance project execution.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Define the strategy for each FPSO project, including bid decisions, target costing, and sales negotiations with multiple EPCs globally.
  • Coordinate sales efforts across different regions based on customer locations to maximize opportunities.
  • Engage early with engineering companies, end users, and lease companies during the Feed phase to ensure alignment and success.
  • Collaborate with the proposal team and commercial sales team to create winning bids and proposals.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring consistent engagement even when immediate project opportunities are not present.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 12 or more years of experience in the compression industry within FPSO, whether as an end user, EPC, or OEM, with a proven track record in O&G sales.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and develop business opportunities effectively.
  • A broad understanding of the offshore market and its specific constraints.
  • Fluency in English with excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience in intercultural environments and cross-regional teams.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States and/ OR Singapore without requiring current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Current Siemens Energy employees with existing visa sponsorship may be considered for internal transfers.
