Join our dynamic Grid Enhanced Technology team as a Test Manager (m/f/d) Sensors and Field Devices, where you will ensure compliance with requirements and regulatory standards. Your role is pivotal in transforming transformers into valuable grid assets, providing our customers with critical insights into asset and fleet health and operational capabilities. Imagine collaborating with product management, development, and test teams, as well as engaging with internal stakeholders like procurement and quality. As a key member of our skilled and diverse team, you will embody our values and tackle challenges to deliver valuable solutions for our customers.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Drive the validation of sensor systems within our digitalization portfolio using your expertise.
  • Support the definition of system requirements from a testing perspective and define test concepts that align with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Derive comprehensive test cases from system requirements to ensure thorough validation and shape both internal and external test setups to meet project needs effectively.
  • Plan and control the test budget and timeline to ensure project success.
  • Efficiently steer external suppliers and testers, contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Embrace a hands-on mentality as part of a young, growing unit, and engage directly with the technology.

What You Bring

  • A degree in Electrical engineering, Information or Communications technology or equivalent experience, with a strong background in embedded software and/or hardware validation.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software and/or hardware validation.
  • Certified experience, such as ISTQB® and Experience in embedded hardware project management is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with electronics in high voltage applications is advantageous, though not required.
  • Proficiency in business English, with strong skills in preparing and reporting status updates to internal management.
  • A high level of self-management and an entrepreneurial mindset to navigate project management variables like quality, cost, and time.
