A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our dynamic team as a Technical Designer, where your expertise will play a crucial role in shaping innovative power transmission systems. You will utilize your engineering skills, primarily in mechanical engineering, to create detailed 3D drawings and snippets tailored to project demands. Imagine collaborating with project stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and a consistent data flow, while checking sub-supplier deliverables against 3D models. Your keen eye for detail will be essential as you conduct clash checks and provide valuable inputs to project BIM management plans, all while adhering to ACC and Revit guidelines for Primary Engineering.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You will arrange systems and components in CAD, optimizing building designs and structures for efficiency.
  • Conduct clash detections between various systems, including HV components, piping, buildings, and roads, ensuring smooth integration.
  • Collaborate as part of the BIM project team, maintaining daily activities and fostering communication among project stakeholders.
  • Ensure the quality of the total BIM model and associated documents, facilitating collaboration and informed decision-making.
  • Work through BIM-specific projects and tasks, executing a BIM execution plan across multiple projects and phases.

What You Bring

  • A degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical engineering, with 3 years of experience in the field.
  • Proficiency in tools such as ACC, Revit, Inventor, and PrimTech, along with the ability to export in various formats (STP, DWG, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of power transmission systems and HV technology, with a focus on optimizing designs for erection and maintenance activities.
  • Experience in conducting clash checks and providing inputs to project BIM management plans.
  • Advanced skills in creating 3D drawings and snippets based on project requirements.
  • Willingess to travel to Denmark (once/month)
