A Snapshot of Your Day

This position will be accountable for supporting product flow by operating several manual machines, furnaces, test stations and blasters. The successful candidate will be appraised for having aptitude for running small manual and or CNC machines, operate hand held air tools (grinders/drills). The candidate must pass a fork truck license test and capable of operating a crane. Taking and recording dimensional results using calibrated gauges will also be required.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Blast clean Combustion parts to remove thermal spray coatings and dust blast for cosmetic appearance
  • Operator fork trucks and jib cranes to move components.
  • Load and unload components for Furnace operations.
  • Use computer to input documentation and move finished material to the next process area
  • Keep safety as the priority in every process step
  • Enforce to all company and Plant specific safety requirements
  • Recognize, report and accurate safety hazards upon identification

What You Bring

  • Perform manual tasks using hand tools, such as grinders and drills.
  • Have basic Machine competencies and able to operate basic machines; mills, lathes, etc.
  • Some knowledge and experience with CNC controls is preferred.
  • Job duties also require being able to occasionally lift/carry/push/pull lathe drivers and other items weighing approximately 5 to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to attain Career Readiness Certificate at a Silver Level..
