How You’ll Make an Impact

• Leading the Electrical Engineering project team in close cooperation and communication with the project engineering manager and project management as well as with other relevant stakeholders (e.g., your line manager)
• Implementation, steering and control of electrical design process with focus on related concepts, BoQs and technical specification provision for the electrical scope of power plant project such as but not limited to:
• Generator Step-Up and Auxiliary Transformers
• Generator Circuit Breaker
• Isolated Phase Bus / Non-Segregated Phase Bus 
• MV / LV Switchgear / Motor Control Center
• Low Voltage Transformer (Dry and Oil Filled)
• Battery, Charger, Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS)
• Power Control Center (PCC) (containerized e-House)
• Protection Relay Panels 
• Diesel Generators
• Cable and cable tray systems
• Identification and proactive management of project risks, opportunities, and claims
• Overall project reporting regarding engineering progress, technical clarifications and budget for hardware and engineering hours as well as monitoring of on-time delivery of deliverables (documentation as well as hardware) and quality
• Coordinate with internal/external Architect/Engineers, partners, and Customers to support timely transmittal and understanding of supplier technical documents.  Review design documents submitted by suppliers and internal/external partners.  
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for any or all the above components and systems.  Ensure all components are thoroughly tested and meet the performance and quality requirements established in the technical specification.
• Site Support: Support the construction site during electrical installation and commissioning and start-up activities for the electrical scope.

What You Bring  

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management or related fields
• 8 to 10 years of experience in related Electrical Engineering fields from the power generation, power transmission, power distribution and EPC market
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems / components for the auxiliary supply of power plants like medium and low voltage switchgears
• Ability to lead an international, globally dispersed team, combined with good communication and coordination skills to achieve high performing results; fluent in English skills (written and verbal)
• Flexibility and willingness to be present for limited periods (approximately 10%) on project sites, and support meetings with customers and other third-party companies around the globe, per project needs.
• Site construction and/or commissioning experience with the above mentioned equipment is be prefered
