A Snapshot of your day

Your day involves operating and monitoring plant equipment through the DCS T3000, managing start-ups, shutdowns, and troubleshooting to ensure safe and efficient operations. It also includes responding to alarms, logging activities in SPPA-M3000, coordinating with maintenance teams, and working with colleagues to meet generation targets while maintaining safety standards.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Operate and monitor plant equipment (gas/steam turbines, HRSGs, generators) using the DCS T3000 system, ensuring compliance with SOPs for start-up, shutdown, and changeover.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies while ensuring safe, efficient plant operation and meeting generation targets.
  • Utilize SPPA-M3000 for shift logs, fault notifications, work orders, and parts requisition, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, coordinate with maintenance teams, and participate in Permit to Work (PTW) processes and safety drills.
  • Adhere to safety, health, and environmental policies, while actively suggesting and implementing improvements for efficiency and safety.
  • Collaborate with team members, participate in meetings, ensure smooth shift handovers, and engage in ongoing training initiatives.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or power engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in combined cycle power plants preferred, though fresh graduates with relevant knowledge are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong understanding of power plant operations, emergency decision-making, and maintenance of gas and steam turbines.
  • Proficiency in leadership, problem-solving, and digital tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Effective communication, organizational, and planning abilities.
  • Knowledge of gas and steam turbine maintenance processes and systems.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
