A Snapshot of Your Day:
As a Shift Engineer at Siemens Energy, you will engage with a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our power plant systems. You will be responsible for monitoring plant performance, executing critical shut-down and start-up procedures, and responding to alarms, all while contributing to meaningful projects that enhance operational reliability and compliance with safety regulations. Your work will directly impact our clients and partners by maintaining optimal plant availability, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Monitor the status of all plant systems continuously to ensure operational efficiency.
- Execute plant shut-down and start-up procedures as required.
- Respond promptly to alarms and take appropriate actions to mitigate issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to support operational goals and safety compliance.
- Ensure the plant meets its generating requirements while adhering to safety regulations.
- Participate in training and development to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
What You Bring:
- Strong knowledge of power plant operations and maintenance, including mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using the SPPA-M3000 Plant Management System for various operational modules.
- Experience in executing safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Commitment to continuous learning and adherence to international management systems (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001).
About the Team:
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
