As a Senior Sales Engineer, Battery Energy Storage Solutions, every day is not the same in your multicultural team. You will be responsible with your colleagues for the development of the best-fit-solutions in Battery Storage for our global customers and make a significant contribution to the energy transition. How You’ll Make an Impact

• Identify and translate customer requirements into technical proposals in close collaboration with the sales team
• Determine the most effective solutions and design high-level system drawings and layouts
• Create bills-of-material and labor cost estimates
• Develop a deep understanding of energy storage technologies and provide the Sales team with technical support as well as product configuration guidance
• support projects from the design phase through the start-up phase to handover to the execution team
• Training of internal and external teams about the product and services of Siemens Energy battery storage solutions
• Support our technical sales team at prospective customers and clients.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering or similar technical subject area
• At least 5 years professional experience in energy storage, solar, other power generation or industrial EPC works
• Ability to tackle difficult technical issues and communicate results clearly
• Experience developing technical and financial models using Excel
• Independent work, combined with medium travel activity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a confident manner
• Fluent in English (required); German skills are a plus
