We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Development and Account Manager to drive growth across Data Centers. This role blends strategic business development with account management, requiring a deep understanding of data center industry, and customer relationship management. The successful candidate will identify new opportunities, expand market presence, and nurture long-term partnerships with clients in these critical sectors.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Conduct market analysis to identify industry trends, regulatory changes, and customer needs, enabling effective go-to-market strategies.
- Pursue new business opportunities in data centers while building strategic alliances with technology providers and industry partners.
- Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, managing complex sales cycles and ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Develop account plans to maximize revenue growth and cross-selling opportunities across various industries.
- Collaborate with sales engineering and product teams to deliver customized solutions, driving targeted campaigns for data center and industrial clients.
- Report on pipeline development, account performance, and market insights to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with business goals.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within data center.
- Strong understanding of data center operations and industrial infrastructure, including business models and financing schemes.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and negotiate large contracts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel (approximately 40% of the time) as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

We enable decarbonization of the industrial sector and the transition to sustainable processes, building on a strong industrial customer base, a global network, diverse technologies, and integrated execution capabilities.
