A Snapshot of Your Day

You will be part of the homegrown HR benefit and compensation platform COIN team, as the Backend Expert. Together with your team and the product owners from the business, you will be responsible for the global platform, performing Merit process, talent management, people administration, … As backend expert you work directly with the external consultants on the applications, bringing the best in place architecture, developments and skills into the team and coordinating with the stakeholders the lifecycle of the applications.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Coordinating external providers, managing the workload and sprints
• Contract management with external providers
• Work with a wide range of AWS services, especially in the backend area
• Drive the Backend solution architecture
• Coordinate and develop infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Coordinate and perform the security and audit tasks.
• In-depth understanding of networking concepts and best practices in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements in cloud environments.
• Experience in coordinating audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest AWS technologies and trends.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, and EF Core for backend development (4+ years of experience)
• Deep understanding of AWS technologies, particularly RDS, MSK, and Redis
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
• Ability to translate business requirements into efficient SQL database schemas
• Prior experience in requirements engineering or similar roles is desirable
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly RDS, MSK, and Redis
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jasmine or Karma is a plus.Excellent communication skills in English (CIBA 4)
