• Support daily Closing & Reporting operations and process management by proposing, implementing, monitoring, and reporting KPIs and internal controls, ensuring timely and accurate transaction recording and month-end closing per accounting standards.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to address complex operational issues, take ownership of decisions, and share best practices across teams.
• Provide expert support and guidance to AS Closing & Reporting team on accounting issues, while proactively engaging in process improvement initiatives and suggesting innovative solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Perform closing activities including reconciliation and reporting, handling forex revaluation and PL & BS readjustments, cost object settlement runs, and reconciliation between SAP modules. i.e. PS, COPA, and FI-PCA.
• Responsible for preparing periodic financial statements in line with IFRS and internal guidelines. Ensure accurate and timely financial closing across multiple reporting systems (EPM+, ADSTAR, Global Doc) while meeting strict deadlines.
• Responsible for internal controls in Closing & Reporting accounting, also participating in internal and external audit processes by providing timely and qualitative information and resolving queries from the auditors (where applicable for the assigned countries/legal entities)
• Clarify accounting issues, analyze errors, initiate corrections alongside the Principal Analyst and/or Team Lead.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and support initiatives.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and mentoring to analysts, prioritizing workloads and ensuring compliance to achieve operational excellence. Support management with ad-hoc tasks.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Accounting & Finance Operations
• Closing & Reporting, accounting and IFRS and local GAAP knowledge is required.
• Good MS-Office skills (especially in MS-Excel)
• Good understanding of business processes in SAP
• Experience in ERP reporting tool is an advantage
• Experience in transitions and transformation projects is an advantage
• Willingness to travel for knowledge transfer, training/workshops, if needed
• You are open and communicative in nature as well as fluent English skills complete your profile.
