A Snapshot of Your Day

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scrum Master to lead and support our Agile teams in delivering high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, ideally having transitioned from a developer role, and possess deep knowledge of Agile methodologies. This individual will be responsible for facilitating the Scrum process, coaching team members, and ensuring adherence to Agile principles while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. If needed, we would like this individual to use hands on technical experience to resolve technical issues being faced by the team or code to help team achieve the targets.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team’s progress, allowing them to focus on delivering high-value increments.
  • Coach and mentor team members on Agile practices and principles, enhancing their skills and promoting self-organization within the team.
  • Track project progress and team performance using relevant metrics, providing visibility to stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging teams to reflect on their processes and outcomes.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams and management, ensuring clear communication regarding project status, risks, and dependencies.
  • Utilize technical knowledge to engage effectively with development teams, understanding challenges and facilitating discussions that lead to solutions.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile leadership role.
  • Previous experience as a software developer or in a technical role is highly preferred to ensure understanding of technical challenges faced by the team.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple Agile teams effectively while managing competing priorities.
  • Understanding of Scaled Agile Framework

  • Proficient user of Jira and Confluence tools, able to configure and maintain our agile project management tools
  • Ability to analyze metrics to drive performance improvements within teams.
  • Experience in coaching teams through Agile transformations or in environments transitioning from traditional project management approaches to Agile practices.
  • Experience in working with teams from different cultures, especially from the Eastern Europe Area/ India
  • Experience in Scrum of scrums or similar collaboration approaches for larger teams
