A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Resource Manager / Team Lead Site Management at Siemens Energy, you will oversee the allocation and utilization of Site Project Managers, Construction Managers, and Chief TFAs for major projects like HVDC systems and power plants. You will coordinate staff assignments, identify resource needs, and ensure efficient resource use globally. Your role involves strategic planning, decision-making, and interacting with project management and HUB managers to ensure proper staffing.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You will contribute to the energy transition by working on major Siemens Energy projects such as HVDC systems, power transmission systems, power plants, green hydrogen production solutions, and grid stabilization systems.
  • You will work at the Siemens Energy office, facilitating interaction with the Erection and Commissioning team, with partial home office flexibility and availability for international business trips.
  • You will oversee the allocation and utilization of Site Project Managers, Construction Managers, and Chief TFAs within the Site Management function of EC as a resource manager.
  • You will coordinate staff assignments, identify resource needs, and ensure resources are used efficiently to support global project construction sites.
  • You will be involved in strategic planning and decision-making related to resource allocation.
  • You will coordinate with project management, HUB managers, and other functions to ensure the required staffing.
  • You will manage the planning, sourcing, training, allocation, and onboarding of qualified personnel, provide regular status updates to senior management, and act as a manager for part of the allocated personnel, including giving and receiving performance feedback.

What you bring

  • Higher technical education related to construction, electrical engineering, or related fields.
  • Proven experience on similar position on complex, industrial projects, preferred from energy market (Power Plant or Transmission projects).
  • Experience in working at industrial construction sites.
  • English and German skills on C1 level.
  • Experience in collaboration and working in international and multicultural environment.
  • Knowledge about project management methodology and related tools.
  • Open- minded, decision making and independence in actions.
  • Availability for worldwide travel (20-30%) to support and train allocated personnel.
