A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Remote Data Analyst at Siemens Gamesa in Brande, Denmark, your day will involve diagnosing and interpreting remotely collected data from faulty turbines. You will formulate troubleshooting guides in English based on this data, which you will send to service technicians to troubleshoot the turbines. Working in shifts with 1-2 other colleagues in an engaged monitoring room, you will play a crucial role in getting stopped turbines up and running quickly and responsibly, ensuring they remain operational.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Diagnose and interpret data from faulty turbines, creating tailored troubleshooting guides in English.
  • Collaborate with service technicians to ensure efficient troubleshooting and turbine availability.
  • Keep yourself and the team updated through on-site visits and training as needed.
  • Work in a 6-week rotating shift, including weekdays, evenings, nights, and weekends, with occasional paid overtime.
  • Contribute to saving technician hours and increasing turbine availability through effective remote monitoring.

What You Bring

  • Background as a troubleshooting/commissioning technician with practical experience from Siemens wind turbines.
  • Mechanical and/or electrical education with some years of practical experience.
  • Ability to formulate troubleshooting guides based on remotely collected data and knowledge of Siemens wind turbines (WTC-3, SICS, geared and DD platforms).
  • Experience with Office 365 and a good understanding of IT systems.
  • Flexibility, service-mindedness, and pride in keeping systems and turbines operational.
  • Analytical, detail- and result-oriented mindset, with a passion for quality.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, motivated by routine tasks in front of a computer.
  • Skilled communicator, fluent in English both verbally and in technical writing.
  • Experience with WPS, cRSP, and MORS is an advantage but not required.
