The Quotation Specialist will produce inspection and repair proposals for all the North America shops by collaborating with the sales teams, shops and the corresponding personnel, supply chain, finance & legal teams as needed, and management. This individual will be responsible for successfully leading the quote development process in line with customer requirements and in compliance to all Siemens Energy targets, policies, and guidelines.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Receive and review sales L2O (Lead to Order) or customers RFx (Requests for Proposal, Quotation, Information, etc.) or internal quote requests, work scopes and associated forms and supporting documentation for inspection and overhaul jobs to be performed in the North America shops.
Lead development of the quote which includes evaluating customer’s project requirement; identifying the necessary repair work scopes and execution strategy; performing benchmarking and risk analysis; and developing exceptions and clarifications as necessary.
Use the Siemens Energy web-based quote development tool to create the technical and commercial quote by estimating the necessary manhours.
Ensure adherence to the Siemens Energy quote approval guidance.
Process customer purchase orders and book projects after performing necessary reviews as per Siemens Energy policy.
Provide concise and descriptive project handoff documentation to the executing project manager.
Maintain accurate document storage for quotes and ensure correct data management within the established databases.
Assist with and support the various safety projects and initiatives within the organization.
Work to drive continuous process improvements.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferably in one or several of the following areas: Engineering, Operations Management, Construction Management, Field Services, Turnkey Projects, Operations and Maintenance in the Oil and Gas and/or Power Generation industries.
5+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success preferably in Repair Center and Overhaul shops and/or Quote Development in Oil and Gas and/or Power Generation industries.
Familiar with rotating and/or reciprocating equipment repairs (steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, gas turbines, reciprocating compressors, turbochargers, valves, dry gas seals).
Experience with leading early phase of project life cycle and cost
Proficient in CRM tools like Salesforce, ERP Systems like SAP and Microsoft tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
Strong communication, leadership, organizational, writing, and proofreading skills!
Ability to work and lead multiple concurrent engagements simultaneously, with special attention to the deadlines and quality of the quotes.
Fluency in English is a must.
Travel visa to the US is beneficial
