A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Purchasing and Supply Chain Graduate within Siemens Energy Lincoln, you will be an integral part of our Supply Chain function, supporting projects and initiatives that drive continuous improvement across our end-to-end processes. You will gain hands-on exposure to strategic purchasing, supplier management, and operational supply chain performance within a complex manufacturing environment.

Your day may involve analysing supply chain data, supporting supplier negotiations, collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams, and contributing to process optimisation initiatives that enhance efficiency and delivery performance.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Support the development and implementation of supply chain strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise end-to-end supply chain performance.
  • Contribute to the development of new tools and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Support supplier negotiations and help foster strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Apply academic knowledge to real-world business challenges within the energy sector.

What You Bring

  • Graduated with a Business or Supply Chain Management degree (minimum 2:2).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Genuine interest in the energy industry and commitment to sustainability.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
