- Drive complex M&A transactions (acquisitions, divestments and joint venture projects). You take the lead on projects and defined modules incl. the structuring of the transaction, the profitability analysis, as well as the business valuation in coordination with the department Head
- Prepare well-structured decision-making documents for Senior Management and Siemens Energy decision making bodies
- Within the projects/project modules you coordinate specialist teams independently throughout the execution phase of the M&A lifecycle, consisting of internal and external consultants (incl. investment banks)
- Coordinate the conceptual execution of the internal and external expert opinions and process the required impact on the decision-making parameters in a structured manner
- Take the lead in M&A negotiations
- Dynamically engage in further developing the departmental processes and working methods
- Strong academic background with a relevant degree (e.g. business administration, CFA) and 5+ years of experience in M&A and related fields such as corporate finance, transaction services, investment banking, or private equity
- Proven track record in international, complex projects or experience abroad, ideally with leadership of interdisciplinary teams
- Expertise in business valuation, strong knowledge of corporate analysis (including business models and value drivers), external accounting, and familiarity with M&A-related contractual frameworks
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to independently prepare and visualize complex information for senior management using Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint)
- High level of assertiveness, initiative, and results orientation, combined with business-fluent English skills; German is a plus
