Snapshot Of Your Day:
Assist the Program management and issue identification teams in their efforts to identify and resolve the most significant product (Generator, Gas Turbine, and Steam Turbine) issues resulting in non-conformance costs and major impacts to our customers according to the Product Integrity Process (PIP).
How You Make An Impact:
- Data Collection and Analysis: Assist in gathering and analyzing data from various databases and through team member interactions to identify potential product issues.
- Reporting and Documentation: Compile and organize findings from data collection and mining activities into comprehensive reports for review and decision-making.
- Issue Tracking and Follow-Up: Follow up with team members to gather updates on the status of reported issues.
- Project Coordination and Documentation: Assist in organizing project meetings, preparing agendas, and maintaining up-to-date project documentation, including status reports and best practices.
- Data Representation and Communication: Assist in preparing presentations for team meetings and stakeholder updates.
- Administrative Support: Perform data entry tasks, take notes during meetings, and distribute minutes to ensure effective communication and record-keeping within the team.
What You Bring
- Rising sophomore or junior, or first year grad student pursing bachelor’s or master’s degree with a focus on Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or similar
- Advanced computer skills with MS Office (Teams, word, excel, power point); Office 365 preferred
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Demonstrate innovation and forward-thinking aptitude through previous school projects, employment/internships or extracurricular activities
- Applicants must have a minimum of a 3.2 GPA and have relevant prior work experience
