As a Production Operative in our Final Assembly Department at the Wind Turbine Blade Manufacturing Facility in Hull, you’ll be part of a dedicated and close-knit team that takes pride in delivering world-class renewable energy solutions. Each day, you’ll contribute to the final stage of blade production—fitting and assembling critical components that ensure our wind turbine blades perform efficiently out in the field.

Your day will involve working hands-on with high-quality materials and specialized tools, following precise engineering specifications, and maintaining an unwavering focus on safety and quality. You’ll collaborate with skilled colleagues who share a passion for craftsmanship and teamwork, playing an essential role in helping Siemens Energy power a more sustainable future. Expect a fast-paced environment where precision, pride, and attention to detail are part of every shift.

How You’ll Make an Impact

· Follow all health and safety requirements, protecting yourself and your team at all times.
· Use the correct tools, materials, and equipment efficiently and safely to complete assigned tasks.
· Plan, lay out, and complete assembly work in line with strict engineering specifications and quality standards.
· Check and monitor work carefully to ensure accuracy and consistency at every stage of the process.
· Work in protective suits and breathing apparatus (RPE) when required to maintain a safe and controlled environment.
· Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to 5S and housekeeping standards.
· Follow detailed work instructions exactly as provided and report any potential improvements through the appropriate process.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives by upholding production standards and contributing to a culture of excellence.

What You Bring

· A strong focus on health and safety, with a proactive attitude toward maintaining a safe workplace.
· Experience working with large machinery or in a manufacturing environment.
· Familiarity with CNC or other computer-controlled equipment.
· High levels of spatial awareness and manual dexterity.
· Experience with bolting, drilling, or other mechanical assembly tasks.
· The ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and consistently.
· Flexibility to work a shift pattern that includes days, nights, and weekends.
· A team-oriented mindset with pride in delivering high-quality work that contributes to clean energy production.
