A Snapshot of Your Day

You will be responsible for Post processor development for Turning (VTL & HTL), Milling (2, 3 & 5 axes), Millturn, W-EDM, CNC Grinding machines using NX Post Builder / Post Configurator.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Creation and debugging of post-processors for a variety of machine / control configurations. Provide support in Virtual machine & control creation using Vericut or NX-ISV
  • Apply fundamental knowledge of geometry creation, toolpath generation and toolpath post processing for Turning, Wirecut, Milling (3-5 axes) & Millturn CNC Programming.
  • Provide safe and efficient CNC programs and all supporting documentation to the shop.
  • Verifies NC programs are in accordance to required drawings, specifications and quality system.
  • Assist in documenting the standard operating processes and procedures.
  • Assist in process improvements to reduce manufacturing costs and enhance the quality of parts being produced.
  • Assist in training CNC fundamentals & manufacturing process to others.

What You Bring

  • B.Tech / BE in Mechanical or Industrial & Production Engg. with Minimum 5 years of experience in UG/NX Post builder / Post Configurator
  • Good knowledge of tcl programming and knowledge of NX FBM & MKE
  • Experience in machine & control creation in Vericut, NX-ISV or other NC verification software
  • Good knowledge of UG/NX CAM programming for Turning & Milling machines.
  • Good knowledge of G & M codes, cutting tools & cutting parameters are must. Knowledge of CAM automation / Customization
  • Must be able to read and interpret complex machining drawings
  • Work Experience in any of these product manufacturing industries, Centrifugal compressor, Reciprocating compressor, Steam turbine, Gas turbine
