A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Planning Engineer you be will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the master production schedule, ensuring alignment with material planning and shipment schedules. Manage coordination with clients regarding contractual dates for purchase orders and oversee the master program for materials, arrivals, and deliveries. This role requires to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients to meet production and delivery timelines.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Make master production plan and communicate it to the areas involved.
  • Perform plant load charts.
  • Knowledge of transformer production processes
  • Coordinate production workflow for single or multiple processes
  • Plan operations and prioritize operations to ensure maximum throughput and minimum delay
  • Determine personnel, equipment, and raw materials needed to meet production demand
  • Assign workers and other personnel to specific production operations
  • Schedule shifts according to production needs
  • Supervise jobs to ensure that they will be completed on time and within budget
  • Taking care of problems as they arise, with the goal of minimal downtime
  • Apply manufacturing technical improvements to optimize processes and implement a lean, flexible and efficient production model.
  • The position involves interacting with the different areas that are directly.
  • Responsibility to comply and/or enforce compliance with the protocols, policies, guidelines and competencies of the integral management system in place (EHS, Quality).

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Industrial Engineering, Electrical, Mechatronics, Quality or related.
  • Professional Experience 3 years in areas of continuous improvement / processes.
  • Technical Knowledge Manufacturing processes, SMED, plant capacity, time and motion capture, data analysis, lean manufacturing, ergonomics, manufacturing processes, Six Sigma.
  • Languages Intermediate-advanced English
  • Skills / Competencies: Qualified to organize production according to demand and quality standards. You will be in charge of ensuring that our transformers are produced on time. Familiar with production procedures and ways to optimize them. Organized and focused on results, with problem solving skills.
  • Advanced computer skills and good communication skills
  • SAP (Material and Production Planning.)

Activities include undertaking research, design, and development activities to improve the organization's products and services; designing, constructing, testing and operating equipment; ensuring that standards of quality, cost, safety, reliability, timeliness and performance are met in production processes; interpreting plans, drawings and specifications; developing and testing theories on the physical, chemical, and/or biological properties of materials and ingredients under various conditions; scientific research or quality testing in a laboratory environment; researching the environmental effects of the organization's activities; and studying the physical structure, characteristics and processes of the Earth
