A Snapshot of Your Day

As Planning Coordinator for Siemens Energy Transformer factory, you will be responsible to drive the both the operational and strategic aspects of the function to assure the on-time delivery of the product to our customers by means of using productively the installed capacity of the location. As well as to analyze in a strategic manner together with Sales and PM departments the demand and backlog of the business to determine our most efficient mix and define our debottleneck plan to follow the growth aspirations of the site and Cluster.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Primary contact for Plant Capacity, Backlog, Demand and Lead time analysis for growth scenarios
  • Supervise Operational PL efforts to match customer contractual dates
  • Work closely together with the MF operations team in the factory to assure on time production.
  • Work closely with the PM & SCM team to better schedule the MF activities
  • Coordinate with Siemens entities to resolve issues, possible delay and identify alternatives to accomplish targets.
  • Ensures new major asset acquisitions in line with our debottleneck plans

What You Bring

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ownership of the function, with the ability to make decisions, lead, and drive teams toward results.
  • Self-driven and target-oriented, with strong focus on achieving objectives and continuous improvement.
  • Solid knowledge of Capacity Calculation, Lean Manufacturing, and Manufacturing Operations (MF), applying best practices to optimize performance.
  • Professional experience (10 years of experience, including 4-5 years leading a planning team) in Lean, Planning, and Manufacturing activities, demonstrating hands-on operational expertise.
  • Technical proficiency in Gas Turbines, PLCs, Valves, Pumps, and Motors, with a strong engineering foundation.
  • Flexible and adaptable to a constantly changing work environment, with English at a professional working proficiency level.

About the Team

 

The selected person will work jointly with the Company's Factory Management, Project Management, Sales, Manufacturing and SCM teams and other support areas of the Company.
