A Snapshot of your day

This role is a critical replacement to ensure business continuity for Siemens Energy's Long-Term Program (LTP) service business in Uzbekistan, as this is the sole Project Manager position in the country. The position is responsible for managing a portfolio of existing high-value service contracts and supporting upcoming large-scale energy projects. To meet these objectives, the role is structured around three core areas: comprehensive lifecycle management of existing LTP service contracts, rigorous financial and commercial oversight of the project portfolio, and strategic coordination for new project implementations. This focus ensures both the stability of current operations and readiness for future growth in the region. Given the focus on technical service delivery and financial performance, the ideal candidate will be a Specialist Professional (P4) with extensive experience in managing complex projects in the power generation or oil & gas sector. They must possess strong capabilities in project scheduling, financial forecasting, risk management, and customer relationship management, demonstrating the autonomy and expertise required for this PM position.

How you'll make a difference

Manage the full lifecycle of existing Long Term Program (LTP) service contracts for key clients, including Uz-Kor Chemical, Uzbekneftegaz, and others

Plan, schedule, and coordinate all service activities, including preventative maintenance, spare parts delivery, and on-site repairs, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing relationships, conducting regular project reviews, and resolving operational issues to ensure high levels of client satisfaction

Ensure all project activities adhere to internal and external quality, environmental, health, and safety standards

Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., engineering, field service, supply chain) and external vendors to ensure resource alignment and timely project delivery

As a subject matter expert, coach and review the work of junior professionals or support staff involved in project tasks

20% Financial and Commercial Oversight

Develop and manage project budgets, track costs against baseline, and perform accurate financial forecasting and reporting

Oversee the entire project billing cycle, including invoicing and monitoring of accounts receivable to ensure project profitability

Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks and capitalize on opportunities, including managing change orders and contract variations

Prepare and present detailed project status reports on cost, timing, and staffing to senior management
