- Support budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning activities for mechanical design workstreams while ensuring project timelines, technical objectives, and financial targets are achieved
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate mechanical design risks related to constructability, lifecycle cost, system performance, and operational reliability through technical reviews and risk management workshops
- Prepare and present mechanical design reports, technical documentation, calculations, and engineering updates while supporting project controls, governance activities, and multidisciplinary coordination across global teams
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to mechanical engineering standards, digital engineering tools, BIM workflows, simulation technologies, sustainability practices, and energy-efficient mechanical system design
What You Bring (Requirements)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline required; Master’s degree or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design management, mechanical engineering consultancy, or industrial infrastructure projects within manufacturing, energy, power generation, or similar industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, process utilities, piping, fire protection systems, energy-efficient technologies, lifecycle cost analysis, feasibility assessments, and value engineering principles
- Experience working with engineering consultants, BIM platforms, 3D modeling tools, simulation software, and digital engineering technologies, with the ability to independently manage complex technical reviews and design coordination activities
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively across multinational, multidisciplinary teams and manage technical stakeholder relationships
