A Snapshot of Your Day

We are looking for experienced Material Resource Planning Controllers to join our fast-growing Siemens Energy business in Bucharest and to support our global Aeroderivative Gas Turbine (AGT) business.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and controlling the flow of materials across the supply chain, ensuring delivery performance and continuity of supply. You will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage demand, resolve issues, and maintain reliable delivery plans.

Your day-to-day activities will combine operational planning with the use of data and digital tools to monitor performance, identify risks, and support decision making. You will play an active role in improving visibility across the supply chain by using reports, dashboards, and analysis to support both your own activities and the wider team.

As we continue to grow and digitalize our processes, this role has a strong day-to-day focus on data analysis—making solid, hands-on experience with Excel, Power BI, and similar tools essential for success.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Plan and control material demand in SAP, ensuring accurate demand cascade and reliable delivery commitments
  • Maintain supplier delivery schedules, monitor adherence, and proactively address risks to supply using available data and system insights
  • Manage demand changes by assessing impact, identifying risks, and supporting recovery plans where required
  • Act as a key interface with suppliers and internal stakeholders, using data to support discussions, prioritization, and decision making
  • Maintain accurate master and transactional data in ERP systems to ensure consistency between planning and execution
  • Plan and optimize stock levels across the supply chain, balancing availability, cost, and operational constraints
  • Monitor supply chain performance through KPIs (e.g. on-time delivery, shortages, backlog, inventory), using Excel, Power BI, and other tools as part of daily activities
  • Use data analysis to identify trends, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities in supplier performance and internal processes
  • Support problem solving and root cause analysis by combining system data with operational understanding
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of reports and dashboards to enhance visibility and efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement by leveraging data to support better planning decisions and more efficient processes

What You Bring

  • Experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Purchasing, or Logistics, with exposure to planning and control activities
  • Good understanding of production planning, inventory management, and supplier management principles
  • SAP experience (SAP MM and/or SAP PP preferred)
  • Strong analytical mindset and confidence working with data as part of daily activities
  • Good IT skills: Excel, VBA, Power Queries, Power BI
  • Ability to use data to support decision making, prioritization, and problem solving
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
  • Data-driven mindset, motivated to stay up to date with digital tools
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive approach
  • Continuous improvement mindset and interest in digital tools and ways of working
  • Willingness to connect with the team 3 days a week in the office and availability to travel 10% of the time (UK and EU travel)
