Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Assembly Technician, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining business continuity within the Controls & Digitalization manufacturing unit. Imagine assembling and installing complex electromechanical components while ensuring top-notch quality standards are met. You will engage in advanced electromechanical assembly, conduct in-process quality assurance, and provide operational support, all while leveraging your expertise to enhance team capabilities. Your contributions will directly support the growing demand for modernization and new unit projects, making a significant impact on our operations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You will assemble, wire, and install complex electromechanical components and sub-assemblies for control systems, following technical drawings and schematics.
  • Set up and operate various manufacturing equipment and hand/power tools to perform assembly tasks, ensuring precision in every step.
  • Conduct in-process inspections and quality checks to guarantee that assemblies meet established quality standards.
  • Provide guidance and on-the-job training to junior assembly technicians, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Support site installation of control assemblies during outage seasons, working closely with the site manager to ensure successful execution.

What You Bring

  • You have a high school diploma or GED, with vocational training or an Associate’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • With a minimum of 3 years of experience in complex electromechanical assembly, you bring a wealth of knowledge to the role.
  • Proficiency in using power tools, assembly equipment, and testing devices like multimeters is essential for ensuring proper functionality.
  • You possess strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Willingness to travel for site installations is a must, showcasing your dedication to supporting our operations.
