Manager, Grassroots and Political Programs

A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)

The Manager of Grassroots and Political Programs will help lead employee engagement, and manage and maximize relationships with external stakeholders, including trade associations, think tanks, community organizations, educational institutions, and advocacy groups among others. This role is responsible for advancing the organization’s public profile, policy priorities, and strategic relationships while ensuring consistent and effective messaging across all external channels. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, strategic thinker, and trusted advisor to Government Affairs leadership.

How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)

  •        Develop and execute comprehensive external engagement and employee education programs strategy aligned with the public policy and advocacy goals of Siemens Energy.
  •       Ensure political programs strategy is aligned with business goals.
  •       Manage relationships and external engagement efforts with third party organizations
  •       Develop employee education materials.
  •       Design and execute employee mobilization efforts.
  •       Help plan and execute external initiatives such as stakeholder briefings, fly-ins, events, and outreach campaigns.
  •       Monitor political, regulatory, and public opinion developments that may impact the reputation or operations of Siemens Energy.
  •       Prepare briefing materials, talking points, statements, and strategic memos for senior executives.
  •       Represent the company at meetings, conferences, and external forums as needed.
  •     Manage external consultants, vendors, and advisors as needed.
  •     Ensure all external engagement activities comply with ethics, disclosure, and company policies.

What You Bring (requirements)

  •  Bachelor’s degree required
  •  5-8 years of experience in political programs, government affairs, trade associations, or a related field.
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience advising executives and board members.
  •   Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
