A Snapshot of Your Day

You will be leading the implementation of internal projects and initiatives related to manufacturing as well as leading, promoting and executing our Lean Implementation Plan (to be developed), relentlessly pursuing for Lean/ 5S development opportunities in workshop.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Train, coach and mentor colleagues from other departments in learning and using Lean Six Sigma tools
  • Map the stream of value, identify waste reduction opportunities
  • Define and complete projects, track and report the benefits
  • Prepare standards in the workshops that help to reduce waste, ensure timely execution and alignment to procedures
  • Identify and support business on needed changes using change management tools to mitigate risks/impacts to the business
  • Help the business to make every workstation more lean, clean and safe
  • You will be reporting directly to the Head of Operations

What You Bring

  • Bachelor of science degree in Industrial Engineering or relevant field required.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment, as a lean expert. Those with more experience may be considered for a more senior level.
  • Good understanding of Lean methodology
  • Six Sigma experience – Green belt in Lean Six Sigma
  • Change Management experience
  • Enjoy value creation and continuous improvement
  • Experience in product and/or production process planning,
  • drawings, sequence of operations, time standards, Value stream mapping and/or Shop floor experience
  • Be a great teammate, experienced in working with multi-cultural partners/colleagues
  • Hands-on person who will not be afraid to work directly with our employees in the Shop
  • Have the ability to balance multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Upbeat, creative, and proactive personality
  • Solid English language knowledge is a must
  • Knowledge on SAP is a plus
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
