As the Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Security Manager at Siemens Energy, you will oversee and manage the security of OT systems, which are crucial for controlling and monitoring industrial operations in the marine and industry domains.

These systems have unique operational requirements, and your role is vital in protecting them from cyber threats that could impact physical processes. Your day will involve designing and implementing security strategies, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with engineering and product development teams to integrate cybersecurity measures into OT processes and technologies.

You will also lead a team of engineers, providing guidance and mentorship to achieve both individual and team goals. Your leadership will drive the team towards achieving organizational security objectives, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment!

How You'll Make An Impact

• Designing, implementing, and managing OT security strategies, policies, and procedures that align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Overseeing the daily management of the engineering team, including setting performance expectations and conducting reviews.
• Providing cybersecurity mentorship, leading all aspects of user documentation, and coordinating resource planning and project progression.
• As a member of the Digitalization Engineering team, you'll contribute to customer initiatives that facilitate the secure and resilient operation of critical infrastructure.
• Your expertise in managing and servicing customer projects will enhance our ability to respond effectively to cybersecurity events and requirements.
• Standout colleague/influencer – collaborates with others to solve problems & works well in an ambiguous environment.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber security, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years industry experience with a deep knowledge of cybersecurity practices, with an emphasis in OT/ICS environments; cybersecurity certifications is preferred.
• Familiar with regulatory standards and frameworks such as NERC CIP and IEC 62443
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including customer-facing presentations!
• Familiarity with security event collection, aggregation, parsing, and detection methodologies; Understanding of networking topics including switching, routing, access control, and secure communications
• Travel (potential for both international and domestic) up to 25%.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
