SE IT APD PLM offers reliable and cost-efficient PLM IT Solutions and Business Capability Consulting to Siemens Energy. The team continually enhances delivery and implementation processes while exploring new technologies for efficient global collaboration. As an IT Manager (Chapter Lead), you'll supervise a team of consultants and architects, managing PLM projects and portfolios globally to support collaboration between IT PLM services, projects, and business units.


How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • demonstrate disciplinary and professional leadership for a team of PLM consultants and architects
  • ensure the development and availability of a suitable PLM consulting skillset, incorporating new IT technology usage in PLM processes
  • oversee PLM projects, reviewing progress, supporting project managers, and consulting cross-project roadmaps to identify conflicts
  • build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding business needs, and offering tailored PLM solutions
  • improve communication approach and stakeholder management for PLM projects in collaboration with the global team
  • manage and consult on the global PLM Tools-Portfolio within the context of Enterprise Architecture, staying updated on the latest PLM technology and best practices, and providing technical guidance to the team
What You Bring
  • University studies in computer science, business informatics, mechanical engineering, or comparable education required
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in PLM Management Consulting, including global introduction of engineering applications
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to change
  • Willingness to travel as needed for global business stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and networking skills, including cross-cultural abilities
