A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Heavy Lift Technician at Siemens Gamesa, your day will involve performing major component exchanges and maintenance tasks on wind turbines across various sites. You will be part of a dedicated service team, executing mechanical, electrical, and lifting operations. Your role will require troubleshooting, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while collaborating with subcontractors and other team members.
How You’ll Make an Impact
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Technical School Degree on Electrical or Mechanical disciplines.
- Demonstrable experience in heavy lift operations; minimum 5 standard replacements (gearbox, generator, transformer) and 3 complex replacements (Main Shaft, rotor down). Minimum 5 years of experience in Wind Industry
- Fluent in English & Excellent in dealing with computers, note pads, MS office applications.
- High commitment with Quality, Health, Safety & environmental regulations.
- Willing to travel nationally and internationally.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
