A Snapshot of Your Day
You lead a team of sales application engineers, bid managers and technical sales experts to achieve sales targets relating to offer management, opportunity pipeline development, and customer satisfaction across the Grid Technology (GT) Service team in Asia Pacific region. As an enthusiastic and inclusive leader, you will develop a diverse team as well as drive process improvements ensuring the highest performance effectiveness.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Head the Asia Pacific Regional Countries (RCs) Sales Application & Offer Management team, concentrating on governance and established approaches.
- Contribute to the Grid Technology Service APAC management team to develop and implement strategies for business growth and profitability by tailoring the solution according to local country requirement.
- Collaborate with various GT execution units to align portfolio elements with customer needs and market trends.
- Identify and manage sales opportunities, ensuring internal buy-in and approval processes are followed.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes for opportunity development and offer management to meet financial targets.
- Serve as the escalation point for Service sales opportunities and offer management issues, representing GT SV AP management.
- Provide coaching and develop competent team. Foster transparency within the Sales Application team through regular reporting, forecasting, and KPI implementation.
- Support the global strategy for regionalization of GT and GT SV while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in a major electrical company, with a proven track record in team leadership.
- At least 5 years of experience in a sales application or sales role, with relevant project management experience as a plus.
- Beneficial work experience in an engineering role or as a site/field service technical expert.
- Knowledge and experience in the High Voltage transmission industry within the Asia Pacific region.
- Positive attitude towards working in challenging environments and embracing a high-performance culture.
- Ability to understand and effectively cope with cultural differences.
- Proficient in IT tools, including Microsoft, SAP, and Salesforce applications; professional English required, with additional Asian languages as a benefit; willingness to travel within Asia and occasionally to Europe.
