A Snapshot of Your Day

You keep an open communication to all resource managers in Asia Pacific and other regions to align demand and supply of resources as required to satisfy our customers. You will be responsible for long-term outage and resource forecast, aligning with Project Management teams, support management of subcontractors and act as pivotal point for outage planning, outage logistics, capability management and development in the region.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Managing Resource Management & Planning team
  • Establish and maintain consolidated AP outage and resource forecast for entire GS portfolio in relevant IT systems.
  • Operational scheduling, and assignment of Field Service personnel to outages in AP including subcontractor labor, maintaining adequate Quality, EHS, project KPI’s, team development, training, and work life balance.
  • Pro-active alignment, coordination, with neighboring FS organizations for resource exchange to cover demand in AP for all Gas Service product lines aligning with resource management representatives of other regions globally.
  • Active support of FST Management to implement FS development activities maintaining know-how development of FST team via benchmarking, on-the-job training, assessments etc.
  • Management of operational subcontractor, development of subcontractor work force for FST AP including establishing and maintaining subcontractor capability management, required level of subcontractor labor and capabilities and quality management.
  • Maintain oversight of FS capability, and certification status in GS FST AP.
  • Management of digital improvement efforts/ digitalization initiatives including implementation and maintaining relevant IT tools and processes for Field Service Operations in AP.
  • Support FS AP management team with data and information required for resource alignment and planning, participate in relevant discussions form resource management AP perspective.
  • Pro-actively drive alignment of outage scheduling with project organizations of AP with the target to establish even load throughout the year maintaining FS and subcontractor utilization as required.
  • Facilitate and support AP management and countries with operational alignment and joint initiatives with other regions and Center-of-Competence.

What You Bring

  • Proven ability in planning, implementing, and closing complex service activities on Siemens Energy CCPP’s rotating equipment.
  • Problem solving competence and a professional network in Field Service Gas Services as well as Field Service or Project Management experience and/or project management certification.
  • Excellent knowledge in site, sales, project and back-office processes, standards, and requirements. Able to develop and implement new standards and improvements in a diverse, multinational professional environment.
  • Excellent understanding of roles and qualification landscape in Field Service GS, effective in communication, align, decide, and implement professional solutions in resource management with strong analytical and problem-solving competence focusing on balanced, pragmatic solutions and excellent customer experience,
  • Affinity to IT, new technology, innovation, and change combined with the willingness and ability to implement change and development actions as required.
  • High level of intrinsic motivation, resilience, and personal engagement to achieve general, organizational and project specific targets.
  • Profound understanding of different contractual constellations in GS product portfolio, local regulations and their successful transformation into service execution based on project KPI’s.
  • Pro-active approach, up-to-date know-how, successful implementation of HSE, Quality and processes in administration and service execution
  • Great teammate with the ability to work, communicate effectively and respectful (fluent English written and oral) and tackle problems under pressure in a complex environment, collaborating with international and culturally diverse teams, customers and subcontractors in management and working levels.
  • Willing to travel internationally.
