You take ownership of the commercial proposal process for the Transformers Americas cluster (USA, Mexico, and Brazil). Every day, you lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary team, ensuring proposals are delivered with precision, speed, and strategic alignment. You proactively partner with Sales Engineering to identify the best solutions for our customers and optimize project allocation across transformer factories. You drive operational excellence, continuously improving processes, and actively contribute to business unit leadership, fostering innovation and strong stakeholder relationships.

How You’ll Make an Impact

You are a catalyst for business growth, directly shaping strategies, policies, and processes that drive order intake, revenue, and EBIT.

• Coordinate the development of commercial proposals, ensuring quality, compatible deadlines, and selection of the most suitable product (price or performance), in partnership with Sales Engineering.
• Work closely with the Sales organization to allocate projects/clients to transformer factories, optimizing customer satisfaction and factory results.
• Coordinate the LoA process within the cluster.
• Plan, guide, and supervise the team’s workload, reviewing technical offers and costs to ensure compliance with customer requirements, internal standards, and quality criteria.
• Promote standardization, reduction of non-conformity costs (NCCs), and optimization of proposal preparation processes, aiming for continuous improvement and reduced execution times.
• Ensure technical and cost support to Sales Engineers during negotiations, within expected deadlines and quality standards.
• Define and reassess the team structure, promoting development, recognition, and motivation actions to retain talent and drive high performance.
• Actively participate in the business unit management team, contributing ideas and support for the development of new business and differentiated technical solutions for clients, looking by a market intelligence perspective.
• Observe quality, health, safety, environment, and compliance standards and systems, fostering a healthy, safe, and socially responsible work environment.
• Manage strategic relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal areas, acting as a partner in identifying opportunities and innovative solutions.

What You Bring 

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields); postgraduate studies or an MBA are considered a plus.
• Experience in proposal management, projects, operations, or sales, with proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams and management of large industrial projects.
• Fluent English: additional languages are considered an advantage.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows, SAP, Office Suite, area-specific software, negotiation techniques, people management, business administration, and Siemens products.
• Availability for national and international travel.
• Experience in business unit management, international operations, and knowledge of the transmission and distribution market, transformer technologies, and business models in the sector are a differentiator.
