A Snapshot of Your Day

This position is being created to establish a Head of Finance for the Grid Technologies Transformers' Order Execution (OEX) business across Latin America. As a Senior Manager, this role is essential for ensuring business continuity and implementing robust financial governance for all project and operational activities in the region.

To meet these objectives, the role is structured around three core pillars: Strategic Financial Leadership & Governance, which involves setting financial direction, ensuring compliance, and fostering talent development; Operational Finance & Controlling, focused on managing day-to-day financial activities and project cost management; and Business Partnership & Reporting, which entails advising senior leadership and delivering insightful financial analysis.

Given the focus on regional leadership and project execution, the ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in strategic financial management within a manufacturing or project-driven industry. Key requirements include proven leadership in developing talent and managing cross-functional teams across Latin America, deep expertise in financial planning and analysis, and a strong command of compliance frameworks and internal controls.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Develop and execute the 1–3 year financial strategy for the Order Execution business across Latin America, aligned with global and regional objectives.

Lead talent development and succession planning within the regional finance team, fostering a high-performance culture and continuous improvement.

Define and enforce compliance, internal controls, and financial policies (GAAP/IFRS), and oversee regional risk management and mitigation activities.

Direct the full financial cycle for LATAM OEX (budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning) and manage operational finance (AP/AR, credit control, cash flow forecasting) to ensure liquidity.

Partner with executive leadership by delivering project controlling and cost accounting, preparing and presenting financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow), supporting budget owners, and ensuring timely tax filings across jurisdictions.

What You Bring

Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent regional certification (e.g., Contador Público Titulado).

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Experience: 10+ years of progressive financial management experience, including significant exposure to project-based and/or manufacturing environments.

Leadership: Minimum 5 years leading finance teams across multiple countries (preferably within Latin America), with strong talent development and accountability.

Languages & skills: Fluent in English and Spanish (Portuguese desirable); strong financial planning/analysis, corporate finance, budgeting, cost accounting, risk management, compliance & controls (GAAP, internal controls/audit), and influencing/critical-thinking skills.
