A Snapshot of your day

As part of a wider HR transformation program and the spin-off of Siemens Energy from Siemens, our company is in the process of standardizing and harmonizing its HR systems and services. We are looking for a Global HR Systems Transformation Lead to join our global and diverse team and play a pivotal role in our HR digital transformation. You will act as an independent and knowledgeable driver of a comprehensive HR transformation program that includes the redesign of the entire HR systems landscape of Siemens Energy over the next years. With your in-depth understanding of HR technology market trends and industry best practices, you will constructively challenge as-is processes and the supporting system landscape. Your focus will be on functional governance and transformation of the global HR technology stack, advancing it to become less complex and more agile, and developing a roadmap to deploy it – whether through market-leading products or purpose-built custom applications. You will collaborate closely with our Product Owners in the People Systems team to ensure the right balance between adhering to standards and enabling flexible, innovative solutions that meet evolving business needs.

How you'll make a difference

· Demonstrate drive and ownership for the transition and evolution of our global HR systems landscape ranging currently from global cloud-based solutions like Workday, Avature, and ServiceNow down to small local apps.

· Define a lean, efficient, and employee-centric HR systems architecture fueling our global HR process standardization.

· Develop a transition and deployment roadmap for our entire technology stack and the required governance structures.

· Radically simplify the current ('As-Is') landscape to reduce the need to manage over 200 applications today, while enabling new use cases based on data-integrated solutions.

· Bundle (often small) demands on one platform that cannot be fulfilled by (global) standard solutions. Define criteria for such demands and coordinate development of solutions on this platform.

· Collaborate with technology partners and include industry best practices to architect technology solutions that drive alignment with business needs and lead discussions to arrive at mutually agreeable solution options and integrations.

· Support larger strategic initiatives across the HR landscape, such as analyzing, consolidating, and improving our global payroll architecture. Collaborate with Payroll and HR Operations teams to identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce system complexity, and enhance data quality and integration between payroll and HR systems.

· Practice continuous development of personal skills and knowledge to ensure our People Systems team is equipped to meet business demands and stay ahead of technological advancements and market trends.

What you bring

· University degree in IT or a related field.

· Longstanding professional (minimum of five years) experience in defining IT architectures, preferably in the HR domain; HR IT consultancy background would be a plus.

· Proven experience in managing multiple HR IT projects in parallel, delivered on time and within budget.

· Collaborative working style, comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders in HR Centers of Competence, HR Operations, IT, Finance, and management.

· Thrives in a global environment and works flexibly across regions and time zones.

· Strong command of English; additional languages are a plus.

About the Team

In this role, you will be working within the Human Resources function – People Systems and Services, a truly global and diverse team of specialists with an open mindset, responsible for guaranteeing operational performance and budget adherence of HR Systems & Services. We ensure and maintain fit-for-purpose HR systems and processes, safeguard end-to-end delivery, and promote Siemens Energy’s digital transformation. You will receive full trust and empowerment to be successful.
