A Snapshot of Your Day 

The General Sales Operations/Administration of SE TI CP SV-EU&AFR SQ is responsible for all spare part service projects of the standard business. From technical advice to our customer, through quotation preparation to order processing, he is both the internal and external contact for the Europe and Africa region. He works closely with the entire SQ and SQ Q team, Field Service team, Engineering team and all departments involved.

This role reports to the Head of Quoting Region Europe & Africa for Compression and is based in Duisburg - Germany.

We are looking for a self-motivated, dynamic, customer-focused individuality, dedicated to shape our Compression Service organization with a high focus on Environment, Quality and Safety.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Lead projects and motivate team members from different departments to clarify customer-specific downtime requirements in detail, both technically and commercially
  • Take over customer communication from the first question to the final meeting of spare part projects which also can be part of complex combined projects consisting of field service, repairs and minor modifications
  • Ensure that all project-related tasks correspond to the process agreed with the customer, both technically and in terms of timing, and that both historical technical changes and product-specific developments are taken into account
  • Develop, implements and manages plans, procedures and processes to ensure that our customers can receive optimal advice
  • Continuously promote team spirit and ensure that the customer solution is the focus
  • Drive the continuous improvement of processes within the area of responsibility that impact customer satisfaction and business excellence and develop sales ideas to generate additional orders
  • Control the sales for an assigned region/country area 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related subject
  • Proven knowledge in the field of sales as well as experience in implementing business improvement initiatives and non-conformity management programs
  • Several years of experience in dealing with technically complex special machines, preferably in the aftermarket
  • Confident use of SAP, MS Office, Salesforce
  • Willingness to make regular customer visits in the agreed sales area
  • Konwledge of the wishes and needs of customers in the aftermarket and how to deal with customer pressure professionally
  • Fluency in German and English
