This role offers exposure to both traditional and advanced power‑generation technologies with one of the world’s leading energy technology companies, as a Gas Turbine Blading Specialist. You will work in a global, multicultural environment, collaborating across teams and levels to drive innovation, performance, and growth in gas turbine blading systems.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Carry out and support the installation, overhaul, and servicing of Siemens Energy gas turbine rotors, turbine and compressor blades, and vanes.
• Inspect components for defects or malfunction and provide clear information and recommendations to on‑site personnel.
• Document disassembly, re‑assembly, and test results in check/test sheets, protocols, data sheets, and field reports in line with standards and requirements.
• Plan the scope of work and duration and provide input to project or site management during preparation and execution.
• Plan and verify required spare parts, and share input or recommendations with project or site management on parts needs.
• Support additional specialist tasks during scheduled or unscheduled maintenance, ensuring work follows HSE standards and the safety of all personnel and subcontractors is maintained.

What You Bring

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or vocationally trained / high school diploma / GED (or equivalent), with at least 4 years’ independent experience in gas turbine rotating and stationary component maintenance; Siemens Energy rotor, blade, and vane experience preferred.
• Strong hands‑on mechanical maintenance experience in power generation or Oil & Gas, able to work under pressure and in challenging conditions.
• Ability to read and work independently from drawings, specifications, and unit conversions in line with international codes and standards.
• Good English (written and spoken), additional languages an advantage, and solid digital literacy with Microsoft Office and relevant IT tools.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented, and continuously learning mindset with a focus on improving technical processes and finding better solutions.
• Team‑oriented communicator able to work independently or in multinational teams and shifts, with understanding of HSE and quality standards, and willingness to travel and work in various locations, including a workshop in Kuala Lumpur.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
