A Snapshot of Your Day

In your new role you will be an integral part of WSC factory Finance team with major focus on Track CAPEX project progress, Inventory management as well as analyzing and reporting factory financials.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Month end activities including but not limited to prepare and post journal entries, allocation, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist in the development of periodic forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Inventory management
  • Support monthly reporting for cost center, productivity, factory scorecard etc.
  • Track CAPEX project progress in terms of PO creation, invoice receipt from the vendor, reconciliation, and capitalization. Compile and report monthly CAPEX spend.
  • Support all other ad-hoc initiatives in finance as well as other strategic initiatives in the plant as required.
  • Coordinate with other locations to share knowledge as well as best practices.
  • Actively improves processes with process improvement methods to ensure effectiveness within LGN/WSC reporting & controlling.
  • Reliable team player willing to go the extra mile when necessary.

What You Bring

Basic Qualifications:

  • HS diploma required.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in financial statement analysis and modeling.
  • Ability to effectively manage deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly developed analytical skills and detail-orientation.
  • Team-orientation with “we can do it” mentality.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP system.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Tableau, Knime, UiPath or any other automation and visualization tool is a plus.
  • Previous experience in business unit or business segment finance
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting and financial analysis in a manufacturing plant environment.
