A Snapshot of Your Day
As Procurement Contract Manager / Expert Contract Lifecycle Manager (f/m/d), you will shape how contracts are created, negotiated, managed and digitalized for large international power plant projects across GS SO.You will act as the central authority and coach for contractual excellence within Project Procurement and ensure that our contract landscape is standardized, compliant, efficient and futureproof.
How You’ll Make an Impact - Own, maintain and continuously improve procurement contract standards (project-specific and framework agreements); Ensure alignment with latest Siemens Energy corporate, legal and compliance requirements; Translate corporate requirements or projects specifics into pragmatic, project-usable contract templates and clauses
- Act as first escalation point for complex contractual questions within procurement; Coach and support project procurement managers, buyers and commodity managers in drafting project specific contracts and in complex legal questions during negotiations. Enable procurement colleagues to apply contract standards confidently and correctly in a project environment
- Promote best practices in contract structuring, risk allocation and negotiation strategies; Act as process designer for Contract Lifecycle Management in procurement, ensure project procurement perspective and requirements, especially contract configuration related to a content/databased solution
- Define and optimize end-to-end CLM processes (customer requirements, project standards, individual contracts and amendments)
- Shape and drive the implementation and roll-out of the CLM tool within project procurement organizations. Translate business needs into functional CLM requirements. Coordinate training for procurement and cross-functions (Legal, PM, Engineering, SCM)
- Drive CLM App enhancements and process automation to increase efficiency and transparency by continuously improving data quality, reporting and contract visibility across the lifecycle; Build a strong network across procurement, legal and (commercial) project management
What You Bring- Degree in Business Administration, Law, Industrial Engineering or comparable; Strong qualification in commercial law and contract management
- Long-term professional experience in complex contract creation and negotiation in an international project environment, ideally in: Project procurement, EPC / large infrastructure projects, industrial or capital goods environment.
- Proven experience working with or implementing CLM apps or digital contract processes
- Solid understanding of process design and optimization
- Recognized senior contract expert with a strong coaching and advisory mindset; High affinity for processes, leveraging AI and digitalization
- Strong communication skills across seniority levels and functions, professional fluency in German and English
